This week I’m mildly obsessed with the song “The Heart Wants What It Wants” by Selena Gomez (and\u00a0don’t even get me started on that “Stars Dance” song. \u00a0Oh Selena where have you been all my life? \u00a0Oh wait, you weren’t born yet). \u00a0To anyone who knows me as a Motley Crue\/Cinderella\/Arcade Fire\/TV on the Radio\/Bjork fan, I’m sorry. \u00a0Yep, bubble burst. \u00a0So speaking of hearts<\/strong>, I LOVE<\/strong> Valentine’s Day. \u00a0A holiday created to sell cards? \u00a0HELL YES! \u00a0I love<\/strong> cards too! \u00a0I even love index cards.<\/p>\n

Valentine’s Day is a fantastic \"IMG_0116\"reason\/excuse to pay-it-forward. \u00a0There’s still time to Spare a Rose, Save a Child<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I don’t think of Valentine’s Day as a “romance” thing. \u00a0It’s about happiness, smiles, being kind (even when you really don’t want to be), doing someone else a favor, surprises<\/strong>, simply saying “I LOVE you”, and grilled cheese. \u00a0Why not right? \u00a0My only real Valentine’s Day disaster was when I decorated a coworker’s desk with hundreds of heart stickers. \u00a0Those stickers weren’t liar\"tumblr_n9q6gjcaoJ1rk250ao1_1280\"s (so damn STICKY. \u00a0Tragic clean-up). \u00a0Well you win some, you lose some right?<\/p>\n
